"Acheloos" fine lentils come from the valley of the Acheloos river in the region of Farsala. They are easy to boil, extremely delicious and of high nutritional value. Lentils do not need to be soaked before cooking. You can enjoy them as a soup and as a cold salad with vegetables and tuna. Once you have mashed the lentils, you can serve them as a dip or even as a side dish with meat. Lentils are great in risottos as well.
