Feta is a traditional Greek white, soft cheese preserved in brine. It is made from 100% sheep's milk or a combination of sheep's and goat's milk, but goat's milk should not exceed 30% of the total weight. The milk should only be collected from animals that live and are fed in the traditional way - only in certain livestock regions of Greece. One of these regions is Arkadia, where the creamery of Vasilis Kourouniotis is located. He produces a wonderful feta cheese which ages in wooden barrels. It is characterized by its solid texture, its full-bodied and peppery taste, its rich aroma and pleasant aftertaste. Enjoy it in cheese pies and tarts, in prawn saganaki, in ntakos, in Greek salad or sprinkle some roasted sesame seeds over it and drizzle some thyme honey!
